Visual annotation
Point at the exact spot and say what needs to change.
Case study · SaaS · Feedback and collaboration
A platform for collecting feedback on images, PDFs, videos, websites and audio. It brings visual annotations, real-time updates and clear workflows to creative professionals, teams and agencies.
The challenge
Meet Nabil, a product manager who oversees design, development and testing teams. For him, feedback was slow and messy. He took screenshots by hand, annotated them, and sent them over WhatsApp or email. Tasks got lost in long chats.
There was no central place for feedback, and no tool that let him comment inside mobile apps. He soon realized that other product managers, designers and developers had the same problem.
The solution
Bugsmash lets people comment directly on media, including apps. Teams annotate issues visually, keep all feedback in one place, and track every task through to done.
Point at the exact spot and say what needs to change.
One home for comments instead of chats and inboxes.
Turn comments into tasks that nobody loses.
Everyone sees changes as they happen.
Move from feedback to fixes without leaving the tool.
Ideation
The idea started on paper. These sketches explore how a comment, a pin and a task could live together on one screen.
User flow
A vanilla user flow is the simplest path someone takes to finish a core task, with no edge cases. It keeps the main journey clear before any complexity is added.
How it works
Mark up the page, app or file, then share it so teammates can reply and resolve each comment.
I plan to keep improving the experience of Bugsmash. The current designs are final for the time allotted.
